The Department of Political Science at the University of Miami invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position with research and teaching specialization in public policy. The successful candidate will teach courses primarily in our in-person Master’s in Public Policy program, with the possibility of undergraduate teaching as well. Course topics may include but are not limited to statistics for public policy, microeconomics for public policy, macroeconomics for public policy, applied policy analysis, public policy process, and the policy area of the successful candidate’s expertise. The expected teaching assignment is 3 courses per semester. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in public policy or a related field in hand by August 15, 2023.
