The McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University invites applicants for the McCourt Chair of Public Policy. The endowed chair holder is expected to provide leadership and substantial impact for the School across the dimensions of research, teaching and service, particularly with their research. The successful candidate will have an outstanding scholarly track record and agenda, with evidence of both high productivity and high-quality research. Applicants should also demonstrate evidence of national and international prominence in their respective field. While the search is open with respect to field, discipline, and geographic research concentrations, scholars with disciplinary backgrounds in public management, political science, public policy and sociology are especially encouraged to apply.

The projected base salary range is $250,000 - $325,000.  Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
