Dissertation Fellowship Program

• The Dissertation Fellowship supports doctoral candidates studying retirement or disability policy.  
• Two fellowships of $28,000 will be awarded.

Sandell Grant Program

• The Sandell Grant provides the opportunities for juniors or non-tenured scholars to pursue research on retirement or disability policy. 
• Two grants of $50,000 will be awarded for a one-year project.

The application deadline for both programs is January 31, 2025.

Individuals from historically underserved or underrepresented communities are encouraged to apply.

The Dissertation Fellowship and Sandell Grant Programs are funded by the U.S. Social Security Administration.
