Research Manager

The Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University (CEPR) is hiring a Research Manager to join our team. CEPR is a dynamic, fast-paced research organization committed to improving educational outcomes through the power of research and evidence. CEPR projects use rigorous quantitative methods to answer questions about policy and practice in K-12 and higher education settings. 

The Research Manager will lead analyses, working closely with PIs, a team of research analysts, and external partners to ensure timely and high-quality completion of research projects.

 You’d be a great fit for this job if you: 

• Have a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, education policy, public policy, statistics, social science, computer science, or a related field 

• Have at least 5 plus years of professional work experience (relevant coursework may count towards this experience)

• Are proficient in using Stata to manage, prepare, and analyze data   

• Have project and/or people management experience

• Enjoy analytic problem-solving  

• Work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment  

• Are motivated to produce quality, actionable research and evidence to strengthen students’ educational outcomes   

• Are dedicated to continual learning and skill development  

• Can work from our Cambridge, MA office 3 days a week
