The Opportunity
Brightpoint is seeking a Chief of Staff to serve as a key advisor to the President & CEO and a member of the Executive Team. The Chief of Staff drives organizational strategy, improves overall effectiveness, facilitates high-priority projects, and fosters a culture of collaboration and accountability. This role ensures alignment across the Executive Team, provides oversight of strategic initiatives, supports Board management, and strengthens organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities
Advisor to the President & CEO
• Partner on organizational strategy, operational priorities, and executive decision-making.
• Conduct research and synthesize insights for actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate Executive Team meetings to drive alignment and accountability.
Organizational Strategy & Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Lead priority initiatives from strategy through execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Build relationships across the organization to streamline processes and support high-priority projects.
• Facilitate Senior Leadership Team in crisis management and decision-making.
Board Management
• Partner with the CEO to support Board strategy and engagement.
• Oversee preparation and execution of Board meetings, including agenda development and logistics.
• Supervise the Executive Assistant to the CEO & Board Liaison.
Executive Office Management
• Supervise CEO support staff, including calendar, email, and travel management.
• Coordinate resources to ensure the CEO is prepared for internal and external engagements.
• Lead high-level talent initiatives and supervise the VP of People & Culture, focusing on culture, change management, and leadership development.
Leadership Responsibilities
• Lead with empathy, integrity, and commitment to equity.
• Coach, develop, and, when necessary, remove leaders while nurturing high-potential talent.
• Foster an inclusive, antiracist, values-aligned culture supporting staff engagement and organizational resilience.
Candidate Profile
Strategic Executive Leadership
• Trusted advisor with a history of navigating complexity, aligning executive teams, and translating insights into action.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage diverse audiences with empathy and professionalism.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Implementation
• Experience leading initiatives from strategy to execution, managing complex projects, aligning stakeholders, and achieving measurable outcomes.
• Results-oriented and capable of driving operational excellence in fast-paced environments.
Board Engagement & Governance Support
• Skilled in supporting Boards and executive leadership on governance, strategic planning, and accountability.
• Able to foster trustee engagement through clear communication, preparation, and seamless coordination.
Culture Stewardship & People Leadership
• Committed to building inclusive, mission-driven organizational cultures.
• Experienced in leadership development, change management, and embedding equity in practices.
• Champions trauma-informed, family-centered approaches and a supportive, empowering workplace.

Qualifications
• Master’s degree in business administration, industrial/organizational psychology, or related field preferred; or bachelor’s degree with five or more years of experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of inclusive and relationship-based leadership models.
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and serving a range of communities.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $185,000–$200,218, commensurate with experience. Includes comprehensive benefits.
