The School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs seeks to fill one full-time non-tenure track job openings at the Assistant Teaching Professor, Associate Teaching Professor, or Full Teaching Professor faculty levels. This is an academic year teaching faculty position with opportunities for promotion through an established track from Assistant Teaching Professor to Associate Teaching Professor to Full Teaching Professor. Reappointment letters are issued prior to July 1 of the applicable year. This is a full time, benefits-eligible position with an expected start date of August 17, 2026. Responsibilities: Duties include a teaching load of six courses for the academic year (three courses per semester) in core master’s degree courses, with a specific need in public budgeting and finance, at the national, state, and local levels. Additional teaching areas might include administrative ethics, policy analysis, principles of public administration, personnel management, and related comparative or international areas. Courses will be offered on campus in Boston or online. Student advising, professional development, and service are also expected. |
