The Baby’s First Years (BFY) study is a first-of-its-kind randomized controlled trial focused on understanding the causal impact of providing an unconditional cash transfer to low-income mothers during their children’s early years. Now entering its eighth year, the BFY team seeks a research analyst to join our interdisciplinary team. Research analysts will use a variety of advanced statistical methods common in the social sciences to analyze study data, including longitudinal survey data, administrative data, and direct child assessment data. This position will take the lead on conducting analyses based on team needs and requests as well as managing documentation for the study public data release, publications, and presentations.

In addition to being an integral part of the BFY study, the research analyst will join the team at the Institute for Research on Poverty (IRP). IRP currently serves as the sole federally funded research center on poverty and economic mobility, dedicated to producing and disseminating rigorous evidence to inform policy.

The work schedule is partially remote with the expectation to work in office 2 days per week.
